A 2024 report from Adobe, 2024 Digital Trends — Content Creation and Management in Focus compiles data from market leaders on content creation and management and discuss how they are adapting their strategies to improve productivity using generative AI.

It is clear in this report, that most market leaders see benefits for using AI for content creation. A standout advantage of generative AI is the speed at which large volumes of content can be created. This technology empowers marketers and designers to not only create large volumes of content but to streamline routine tasks. The question though, is how relevant is the content created to brand integrity?

Over half of the organisations featured in this report are seeking to improve campaign testing and the use of analytics, in an effort to produce high-performance content, increase product sales while keeping brand integrity. While analytics measure content performance and customer engagement, using AI exclusively to create vast amounts of content from these figures does not ensure content quality or customer trust.

For now, the human touch is still needed for brand quality assurance – to make sure the brand is meeting customer expectations, and maintaining customer loyalty and trust. A hybrid future of AI and human input is most likely the way of the future for quality, targeted brand management and unique content creation. AI is evolving rapidly, so this will be an interesting space to see how over time, this technology improves and adapts.
