Wishing you a Merry Christmas, 2019

Wishing you a Merry Christmas, 2019

Follow our Instagram page to view our favourite Christmas traditions and keep in touch.

2019 was one of our busiest years to date.

We feel very lucky as graphic designers to have worked on a wide variety of projects, with an incredible range of businesses in Tasmania, interstate and overseas. And we’ve loved every minute!

2019 was also a milestone year for us, as we celebrated our 10th birthday. We treasure working with incredibly motivated and entrepreneurial business owners and staff, who’ve put their trust in our design ability over the years. A thank you to our family and friends for all their support over the years, and I also wish to thank and acknowledge our amazing Stream Team’s hard work and dedication over the years.

From behalf of Stream Art Design, I wish you a wonderful Christmas and New Year that are full of your favourite traditions.

Best wishes,

Please read on for a recap of this year, plus our Christmas closure dates…

BRANDING

We had the pleasure of creating a logo, signage, website (and more) for new business Hired Style in Hobart, Tasmania. Hired Style will help you create something special for your next event that will look simply amazing. We were thrilled to create an amazing looking glossy business card featuring gold foiling for them. Visit hiredstyle.com.au to organise your own DIY party and events hire.

“Ah-mazing Anita at Stream Art Design, I am so grateful for you talking me into the gold foil overlay (although I didn’t need much convincing lol). The prettiest cards I ever did see.” Jenni, Hired Style

The P3 logo was designed for the Potato Pest and Disease Program, to represent a mix of science and nature. A simple potato plant line graphic was created in the shape of a chemical structure to illustrate the scientific nature of the project. The deliberate positioning of the graphic (outward and upward) indicates growth and looking into the future.

We had the pleasure of designing the logo for Dev’s Dumplings Den this year. The triple line in the logo signifies the fusion of the three taste sensations, Nepalese, Indian and Australian as well a creating the letter D representative of the three D’s in the company name. Look out for the delicious Dev’s Dumplings at Devonport’s Providore Market, held every Sunday.

PRINTED MATERIALS

We were delighted to work with Judi Rhodes and Graeme Singleton to realise their vision and create a children’s storybook about ‘making friends’. The Tasmanian devil “Trev” is the hero character of the story – telling of the adventures Trev has along the way while providing you with lots of information about Tasmanian devils. If you’d like a copy of this wonderful book you can purchase it from many Tasmanian Tourism outlets or from many Chinese book stores in Melbourne, or via their website trevthedevil.co

Weddings are often a visually spectacular event, and this one was particularly beautiful. We were delighted to help with all the graphic design requirements for the betrothed, which included save the dates, invitations, RSVPs, a seating plan, menu’s and name cards. We wish the bride and groom – Jessica and Alex – our congratulations and all the happiness in the world as they officially begin their life journeys together.

Devonfield aim to create opportunities for people with disabilities. They are a registered provider of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Our scope included the design of a new logo, business cards, with compliments slips, letterheads, numbered receipt and order books, and a brand new website. Their previous logo and branding was part of a proud history of storytelling, and it was important that their new look reflected where they are today: a progressive and friendly organisation that connects families and creates opportunities for their customers. The logo we created for them is bright and eye catching, using circular shapes linking like a bridge, a powerful metaphor for Devonfield’s services to the community.

PACKAGING

Exciting times at Moat House Farm in Upper Castra, who released their first lot of garlic products for general sale around Australia. If you love garlic and would like some, they will have scapes and garlic available this time next year, in Melbourne and Tasmania. They were a hit at the farmer’s markets and have sold out this year already.

We were delighted to work with Joe and Heather, to create their branding, business cards, stickers and 10kg cartons.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Some of the beautiful photos we styled recently for our client Ian Frame Eyecare in Devonport. Photography thanks to Heath Holden Photography and styled by Anita. Our client liked something a little ‘arty’ and were thrilled with the result.

This year we recently launched a website for Ian Frame Eyecare, where you can read about their services, make an appointment with Ian and also order your contact lenses online: ianframeeyecare.com.au

SIGNAGE

Pictured above: new graphics for Gray Line Tasmania and Experience Tasmania’s double decker (open top) tour bus are complete, and it’s certainly the biggest thing we’ve ever designed – Anita got the chance to sit in the drivers seat (what fun)! We’ve worked with Experience Tasmania and Gray Line for many years, on projects such as their website, a multitude of brochures for a multi-lingual audience, bus wraps and promotional signage.

We recently designed a suite of window panels, doors, meeting room walls and pillar surfaces for the launch of Synapse Medical Service’s new office in Chennai, India. The designs integrated with their Sydney Australia and Dubai UAE signage, and we coordinated with our client’s local signwriter team who implemented the work for their opening celebrations.

Hot off the press and covering the walls – is the inspirational new wall art for one of our Canberra-based clients, the Australian Pharmacy Council. Showcasing their in-house values to promote respect, fairness, creativity, support, honesty and life long learning within their workplace. A wonderful reminder by Phil Jackson adds further interest “The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.” So true, thank you Phil.

PROMOTIONAL

Our client, Feast and Fossick provided give-a-way wafer USBs for the Australia Marketplace South East Asia 2019 event in Kuala Lumpur. Both sides of the USB were custom printed with Feast and Fossick branding and held a promotional presentation for prospective tour planners from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

Our client Karin Koch and her Pooseum in Richmond recently celebrated their first year’s anniversary. Pictured here are some colourful pull up banners we designed for her. Have you been to the Pooseum yet? Don’t forget to watch “PooTube” or have a go at their farting machine while you’re there. Or you might like to pick up a copy of the Pooping Pooches Calendar 2020 – now, wouldn’t this make a fabulous Christmas present?

WEBSITES

Earlier this year we launched a brand new website for our client ‘Premier Five Star Carpet Care’, which showcases their environmentally-friendly cleaning expertise for carpets, upholstery, flood damage control (and much more), for domestic and commercial clients throughout Tasmania. We treasure working with businesses like Premier, who are family-owned…and all round super nice people. You can visit their website at premierfivestarcarpetcare.com.au

A new concept – the toodle® app, makes shopping that one step easier. The app allows you to shop from affiliated retail scenarios, either in-store or online, and with different deliveries options too. We were commissioned by Payar Limited to refine the design of the new website, and custom build the site using the WordPress functionality. The result, a bright and original design, that looks beautiful on desktop, tablet and phone devices. Check it out at toodleglobal.com

Congratulations to Civic Disability Services for the launch of their new look website in September. Civic is a disability service provider impacting on the lives of hundreds of Australians living with disabilities. The site was custom designed and built, and includes a shopping cart and web enquiry forms that integrate with third party systems Pardot and Salesforce. The WordPress site is built to have all elements easy to update for in-house editing. Visit civic.org.au

Thank you also to these wonderful clients, and many more, for trusting us to build beautiful new websites for their business’s: CrossFit MSD gym in Burnie, New Horizons Tasmania, Jenard Training in Hobart, Optima Performance Coaching, Hired Style DIY parties and events hire, and Own-a-home Tasmania builders in NW Tasmania.
